Monday, January 05, 2009 @ 7:28 PM OMZG. my blog was reviewed by Gobi. My heart skipped 5 beats. Thankfully, it was nothing bad.. hehehe. thanks for the review tho. ****** Themostawesomewinterholidayeverwiththebestestcompany. Paris was just too good to be true! Paris is MY LAND! Land with the most mouth-watering desserts, Nutella that is bigger than the size of my head x 2, the beautifully carved architecture/churches. My kind of place. The first 5 things bout Paris that pop into my mind, 1. Heaven to the sweet tooth/taste buds Crepe Crepe with fromage and jambon. I love cheese!! How could people not love cheese! Love the chewiness of the cheddar. Especially the moment when it melts on your tongue. AHHH! It costed me 4 freaking euros! But, i think i make better crepe than the Parisians. =P I should consider starting a business. Macaron Macaron - meringue-like french pastry from Pierre Herme. (courtesy of Miss Kelly Wong =) ) Love the crunchiness at the first bite and how it later melts inside your mouth. But, I expected much more from it as the Pierre Herme website is way too alluring. This tiny piece costed 12 euros. Bloody hell, RM70 for 6 bites. Think of all the homeless in Africa. I need to do more good deeds to increase karma now. So expensive. Obviously must take more picture with it right? lol Many still went and queued, even under the rain. Where did all these rich people come from??? Goose liver Better known as Foie Gras, a well-known french cuisine, rich in flavour, the buttery texture was amazing beyond words. Just so you know, the 3 sticks are the Foie Gras, goes really well with the black beans. I'm eating Foie Gras at such tender age, lifeistoogoodforme. Again, must do more good deeds to increase karma. Hot Chocolat The hot chocolate is as thick as my mucuos. So rich, so chocolatey, so heavenly to the taste buds! The oh-so-crunchy and tasty bake The look of it itself is already so inviting. Let alone the taste. I notice the Parisians like custards a lot. Everything is Paris cost a BOMB. Pastries are the cheapest source of nutrient we could find in Paris. But, it is damn good lar i dun mind eating it for all 3 meals. =) Look at it! It is so preeetty! It is screaming "COME EAT ME!" 2. Metro which stink of piss, Super pissing gross. Drunkards love to piss in the subway. But it is our only form of transportation. It is so well-connected, having a car would be a sin. The fares were bloody exp tho. 3. Buildings/Churches that we couldn't resist "waaaaah-ing" and "ooooh-ing" Basilica of the Sacré Cœur at Montmarte Mosque-like church. How ironic. But the details of the carving is super intricate, so breath-taking. Seriously, it looks a lot like the mosques in Malaysia la. Notre Dame No quasimodo. Just Kell, Me, Sue and Pui Kuan. =) I just can't imagine how much time and effort they spent to carve. The Pantheon Not gonna bore u all with too many pictures :) Oldest yet the coolest bridge in Paris! Against the depressing gloomy sky. One of the most visited tourist attraction in Paris. Not within my affordability tho. The Lourve Just to catch a glimpse of the most overrated painting in the world. Seriously. Monna Lisa Even I look better than her. Giler siao. Xiaxue did a good job in beautifying her, look here. I, obviously, am not inborn with artsey gene. I went throught blood and sweat to take this picture. and the armless Venus de Milo TELL ME lar wuts so great bout this statue, u tell me. I should break two of my arms and it may catapult me to stardom. 4. The chilliness actually bites. Now i know how it feels like being put into the freezer. Water became ice. It snowed at Disneyland! I felt like I was living a dream already, and the snow made my dream even more dreamy. We were blessed with a light snow shower on our last day in Paris! So pwetty! But, there's a price to pay for such a wonderful sight. *shivers* So cold even my camera lens got vapour. But it gave this picture a damn nice effect hahha! But the cold and wet weather really dampened our spirit to keep walking. 5. The glorious rusty metal landmark of Pareeeee~ B.E.A.U.tiful Eiffel Tower in different moods. Gloomy eiffel. Eiffel 65. I'm blue a dabadeedabada. Shy Eiffel hidden in the midst of fog. Eiffel in blink blink. and finally, Happy Eiffel! hence, happy us. We were damn sad at first cos the weather was so terrible, we couldn't get a pretty picture with the Eiffel Tower. =) Trying very hard not to laugh so that i wont trip over and kiss kelly for real. HAHA. How could anyone not love Paris??? I'm definitely going back. Labels: Traveling 0 shouts. |
