Mackintosh was responsible for modeling the outside of the building as well as the interior, and even the design of the cutlery! The Willow Tearooms are an ideal place to relax after a hard day shopping in Glasgow City Centre, in the surroundings of Charles Rennie Mackintosh." Stephanie found this fabulous tea house from her Lonely Planet, Scotland. This book is even more important than her BNF. There are two tearooms. We went to the Chinese styled one. Not as Chinese-y as it could be. Basically, there's nothing chinesey bout this room except for the Pagoda lamp, which is more Thai-ish than Chinesey. And the room should be red, instead of blue. Chinese always like 'ang' ma. Sugar cubes! Charles Rennie Mackintosh Scrambled egg with smoked salmon. Really tasty =) My lemon meringue pie! Meringue tastes and feels like a cotton candy, except it is crispy on the outside. Its super sweeeeeeeeeeeet till my teeth hurt! Jacked potato with tuna! Scones with raisins.
